The Artists’ Network Gallery is starting the new year and warding off the post holiday blues with its HOME group exhibition. Imagine walls of art emulating coziness, comfort and warm hues. Captured in the Danish word Hygge (to hug) to appreciate the small, calming pleasures of home.  The Gallery is calling on artists, Artists’ Network members or non-members, to submit original artworks of any medium and size, 2D and 3D, that cast a warm glow of quietness after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

Selected artists will be notified on or before Friday, December 20th, 2019.

HOME Group Exhibition: January 4 to 26, 2020.

Submission fee:

  • Members: up to 3 artworks $35.00 + HST, $39.55 total.*
  • Non-Members: up to 3 artworks $50.00 + HST, $56.50 total.*

*Submission fee is non-refundable. As this is a juried show, not all submissions will be accepted.

Opening reception: Thursday, January 16, 2020

Artwork Drop-Off: Friday, January 3, 2020

Artwork Pick-Up: Monday, January 27, 2020

All art must be suitable for installation:

  • Completely dry, set, cured, fixed, or protected.
  • Label on the back with title, artist, price, size, medium, year.
  • Secure d-ring hanging attachments affixed 1 1/2″ below the top edge of the work
  • Sculpture, glass, or 3D work requires you supply stands to mount it on.

Submission Form:

  • This form can not be saved. It must be completed and sent.

  • Image files must be titled in the following format, failure to do so may result in a forfeited submission. LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_TITLE.jpg

- File formats .jpg, .jpeg, .png, 2Mb maximum, recommend 1200px on smallest side.
- File name format "Lastname_Firstname_title.jpg"
- Each image must include all the information in the fields below. We use it for jurying, display labels, show catalogue, and promotions.

4. Send it to us!

• After you click SUBMIT, if all required fields are correct, your information and images are emailed to us.

• In case of "one or more fields have an error" message, the field with the error is highlighted.

• The upload process can be slow. It is very important you wait for the spinning arrows below the big Submit button to appear followed by a green pop-up message box, informing you of a successful submission, before leaving the page. Otherwise, all data will be deleted, and the upload suspended, meaning we will not receive your submission.

• You will receive a confirmation email stating your submission has been successfully sent to us.

5. Pay the submission fee

  • This fee is not refunded, it underwrites our overhead to review each submission.
  • Select the appropriate BUY NOW button below. These take you to PayPal where you can pay via your account or credit card. Please remember to do this after clicking Submit as you can not save the form-field data.
  • Paypal will email your receipt of payment.
